My Approach
My approach is person-centred and integrative. I believe every individual brings their own experiences, values, culture, and perspective into therapy. I draw from different therapeutic approaches and tailor our work to what feels most relevant and meaningful to you.

FAQs
How do I know if counselling is right for me?
Many people reach out for counselling during periods of change, emotional distress, or personal growth. Whether you're navigating a specific concern or simply seeking a space to understand yourself more deeply, counselling can support your journey.
What is a consultation call?
This is a 15-minute conversation over video or phone where we can briefly discuss what brings you to therapy and see whether we feel like a good fit to work together. You're welcome to take your time before deciding whether you'd like to continue with your first counselling session.
I've had counselling before. Is it okay to start again?
Absolutely. Whether you're returning to counselling after a break or looking for a different therapeutic experience, you're welcome here. Together, we'll build on your previous experiences and focus on what feels most important for you at this stage of your journey.
Do I need to prepare anything for the first session?
Not at all. You're welcome to come exactly as you are. We simply begin from wherever you are and whatever feels comfortable to share.
What if I don't know what to say or find it difficult to open up?
It's completely okay to begin wherever you are. Whether you're unsure where to start, find it difficult to talk about your experiences, or experience strong emotions during a session, we'll move at a pace that feels comfortable for you. Every conversation unfolds naturally, and every emotion is welcome in the counselling space.
Will you tell me what to do or give me advice?
Counselling is a collaborative process rather than advice-giving. My role is to help you explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences, develop greater self-understanding, and discover choices that feel meaningful and aligned with your values.
How many sessions will I need?
Therapy looks different for everyone. Some people come for short-term support around a specific concern, while others prefer longer-term work for deeper exploration and growth.
Can I decide when to pause or end counselling?
Yes. You are free to pause or end counselling at any time. Where appropriate, we can also discuss your decision together and plan a meaningful ending to the therapeutic process.
Is everything I share in counselling remain confidential?
Yes. What you share in therapy remains confidential, with a few legal and ethical exceptions that will be explained before we begin working together.
What languages are counselling sessions available in?
Counselling sessions are available in English and Tamil.
